- Check the last-seen map firstBefore you search a room, find out which building. A pin saves you from searching the right way in the wrong place.

Tips specific to parked car
- Save your car's infotainment system under My Devices. The last-seen pin is then recorded automatically every time you park.
- Scan from the entrance of each level rather than walking it. If nothing appears, move on, that is a level ruled out in twenty seconds.
- Bluetooth does not pass through a concrete floor well, which is what makes the level-by-level method work.
