Using the app
The app is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple’s standard End User Licence Agreement.
Acceptable use
The app detects Bluetooth signals that devices broadcast openly. It must not be used to monitor, follow or locate another person without their informed consent. Doing so may be a criminal offence in your jurisdiction.
If you believe you are being tracked, contact your local police. In the United States, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233. In the United Kingdom, the National Domestic Abuse Helpline is 0808 2000 247.
What the app cannot do
- It cannot detect a device that is switched off or out of battery.
- It cannot locate a device outside Bluetooth range, which is typically tens of metres.
- It cannot give an exact distance in metres; Bluetooth signal strength indicates relative proximity only.
- It cannot recover a stolen device or identify who has taken it.
The app is provided as a tool to assist a search. It is not a security system and must not be relied upon as one.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are billed to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Full detail is on the subscription terms page.
Liability
The app is provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on the app, including any failure to locate a device.
Governing law and contact
