What we collect
Nothing. The app does not create an account, does not ask for an email address, and does not transmit your device list, your scan results or your location history to any server.
What stays on your device
- The list of devices you have saved, and the names you gave them.
- The last-seen positions recorded when your iPhone detects a saved device.
- Your app settings, including whether clap detection is set to arm automatically.
All of this is stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it.
Permissions
- Bluetooth, used to listen to the advertisement packets that nearby devices broadcast openly. The app does not pair with or connect to other people’s devices.
- Location, used to record where your iPhone was when it detected a saved device, so the last-seen map can show it. Positions are stored on the device.
- Microphone, used by clap detection to recognise a two-clap pattern. Audio is processed on the device in the moment and is never recorded, stored or transmitted.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of that transaction is covered by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Material changes affecting how data is handled will also be reflected in the App Store privacy label.
