How to search for it
- Check the last-seen map firstBefore you search a room, find out which building. A pin saves you from searching the right way in the wrong place.

- Walk and watch the signalSweep in a straight line, give each position a few seconds, and turn 90 degrees when the reading stops rising.
- Search inside things, not across themA strong signal with nothing visible means it is underneath or inside something. Fabric and metal block Bluetooth badly.
Tips specific to smart glasses
- Search the same day. The battery does not give you a second one.
- The charging case blocks signal significantly, a cased pair reads much weaker than you would expect from the distance.
- Save them under My Devices so the last-seen pin is recorded, which for something worn and removed constantly is worth more than a live scan.

Common questions
Can ordinary glasses be found this way?
No. Standard glasses have no radio and broadcast nothing. Only smart glasses with Bluetooth appear in a scan.
Do smart glasses support Find My?
Support varies by manufacturer and most do not join Apple’s network, which is why a general Bluetooth scan is often the only option.
